View-itt | Reddit Media Viewer

View-itt, is a web app that allows the user to filter their favourite subreddits/user pages to just videos and images.

How do I use it?

• All you have to do is type in your desired page sub/user and it'll display the first set of posts.
• Scrolling down will allow you to trigger the app to load more photos. (It'll keep loading until we run out of subreddit pages)

How does it work?

It requests data from the Reddit API, more specifically the reddit page url with the ending '.json'

From there the app has a filter function that searches for specific media queues that denotes the nature of the data retrieved. The desired data is retrieved and displayed. The app utilises React for ease of state / view management.
